Weekend Results

Was a good weekend in the garage. Except for the temp. It's getting pretty hot out there during the day.

First up, an Archangel Michael belt tip for Sir Michael. Etch come out just as I wanted it. Super clean and deep. Can hardly wait to begin the enameling.

After cleanup from mordant.

Cut, ground, and resist removed.

Next, copper etches of the swirly star for Dame Linden. One is planned for patina the other for enamel.

Wet from cleanup of mordant.

I've done the patina and 2 applications of enamel but no photos yet. Should finish those tonight.

Also, did two Alliance etches. I'm planning on enameling these some day in the future. No photos of these but here is an earlier example of this design. The font is the only major update to the design.

Early version.

Finally, did some Annihalus test etches. The font I was using doesn't print so I've updated that and made some other improvements to it based on the results of the etch. Much happier with it now, should have some finished in the next week.

No text! Lines too thin, but shiney.
