Belt Ring

This is some photos of the process I used to make this belt ring for my brothers squire belt.

First here is the mostly finished ring.

 
Process: (for anyone interested)

Bent the copper rod around a ~2.5 inch pipe. Then clipped the rings off.

I filed one side of the ring flat to give some space to mask off to etching. Here is the mask applied and the ink drying before being placed in the etching solution.

Just removed from etching solution

Cleaned up and first coat of patina.

Second coat.
